Registration Requirements
i. Foreign contractor Pre-Registration Register
ii. Have a business registration with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
iii. Have a Job Offer Letter from the client.
iv. Have a minimum paid-up/accumulated capital of RM750,000.00. If the company is registered with the SSM as a Branch Office and the paid-up capital is empty,the company must declare and upload the company’s financial information found in the business register from the country of origin.
v. Employ at least two Malaysian technical personnel who have academic qualifications of a degree related to the field of construction. One of them must have at least five years of experience in the construction industry. (years of experience refers to the date of degree received)

Registration Period
The validity period of the certificate is from the project start date until the project completion date + 2 years defect liability period.

RM5,000.00
Conditions for Holders of Foreign Contractor Registration Certificate
i. The certificate is not transferable.
ii. This certificate is valid until the expiry date of the certificate stated in the certificate.
